Error
Office 365 users encounter a “No Logged on Office Users are configured for Information Rights Management (IRM)” errors.
Symptom & temporary fix
An account error is noted in the Office application’s account page. Fixing/switching account (using same user credentials) may restore functionality for some time. However the issue may return.
Fix
Setting the registry entry in Office KB article2913639 resolves the issue. This issue is may affect both on-premises AD RMS and Azure RMS clients.
