Error
Office 365 users encounter a “No Logged on Office Users are configured for Information Rights Management (IRM)” errors.
Symptom & temporary fix
An account error is noted in the Office application’s account page. Fixing/switching account (using same user credentials) may restore functionality for some time. However the issue may return.
Solution:
Backup your Windows Registry.

- Navigate to the following registry subkey:
Office 2016:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Common\Identity
Office 2013:
HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Office\15.0\Common\Identity - Right-click the entry, and then selectNew.
- Add a new DWORD value to the registry called NoDomainUser, and then set it to a value of1.
